Geometry Dash 2.206 (or news regarding it) will be released on June 1, 2024. RobTop Games recently posted a teaser for Geometry Dash 2.206 specifying how more information—possibly even the update itself—will be released on June 1st.

According to a preview from RobTop, Geometry Dash 2.206 may contain a play from last checkpoint option, a 64 bit version of Geometry Dash on Steam, support for Mac devices, and a new gauntlet.

The preview RobTop revealed contains a few cryptic symbols, such as:
- Text saying 2.206, confirming that this teaser is about Geometry Dash 2.206
- text saying 1200+, which is possibly referring to new songs, SFX, or blocks
- Text saying 64, possibly referring to a 64 bit version of Geometry Dash for Steam
- A picture of Michigun's part from Bloodbath
- An Apple logo, possibly confirming a new update for Mac users
- A symbol that looks like it will allow players to leave a level while saving their checkpoint
